      गौतम गंभीर.....भारतीय क्रिकेट का एक ऐसा नाम जिसे जितना बडा नाम और इज्जत मिलनी चाहिये थी,  उतनी मिली नहीं... एक ऐसा नाम जिसके टॅलेंट कि जितनी तारीफ होनी चाहिये थी, उतनी तारीफ मिली ही नहीं... एक ऐसा नाम जिसे टिम मे रहने के लिए और देश के लिए खेलने के लिए जितने मौके मिलने चाहिये थे, उतने मौके मिले ही नहीं.... दोस्तो ये मेरी निजी राय है गौतम गंभीर के बारे मे और मै आज इस ब्लॉग मे गौतम गंभीर के निजी जिंदगी कि और साथ ही उनके क्रिकेट करीयर मे आये उतार चढाव कि बात करुंगा.

    मध्यमवर्गीय फॅमिली से आने वाले गौतम गंभीर का जन्म 14 अक्तूबर 1981 मे नई दिल्ली मे हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम दीपक गंभीर है और वो  टेक्सटाईल व्यापार मे काम करते थे. उनकी माँ एक गृहिणी थी. गौतम गंभीर केवल 18 दिन के थे तब उनके दादा दादी ने उन्हे गोद ले लिया था. उन्होने अपनी सारी शिक्षा मॉडर्न स्कुल, दिल्ली से ग्रहण कर ली थी. 10 साल कि उमर से ही गौतम गंभीर को क्रिकेट मे दिलचस्पी होने लगी थी. इसी के चलते वो अपने मामा पवन गुलाटी के साथ रहने लगे थे. उनके मामा ने भी उनके क्रिकेट के प्रति के प्यार और इचछा को देखकर उन्हे क्रिकेट मे आगे बढाने का फैसला कर लिया. जहाँ वो गौतम गंभीर को क्रिकेट सिखाने के लिए कडी मेहनत करने लगे. गौतम गंभीर के क्रिकेट के प्रति के समर्पण को समझते हुए उनके मामा ने उन्हे प्रोफेशनल कोचिंग दिलाने का फैसला कर लिया था. शायद इसीलिये गौतम गंभीर अपने मामा को अपना गुरु मानते है.

     गौतम गंभीर ने अपनी स्कुल कि पढाई पुरी करने के तुरंत बाद ही उन्हे नॅशनल क्रिकेट अकॅडमी,  बेंगलोर मे शामिल कर लिया गया था. फिर भी गौतम गंभीर ने पढाई को महत्व देते हुए पहले अपनी ग्रॅज्युएशन कि पढाई पुरी कर ली थी. उनकी जगह पे कोई और होता तो शायद ये नहीं कर पाता.  

     उसके बाद उन्होने अपने क्रिकेट करीयर पर पुरा ध्यान केंद्रित कर लिया था. उसी के चलते गौतम गंभीर ने 2003 साल मे बांगलादेश के खिलाफ भारतीय टिम के लिए खेलते हुए एकदिवसीय मैच मे अपना डेब्यू कर लिया था और अगले ही साल 2004 मे ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ खेलते हुए अपना टेस्ट मैच डेब्यू कर लिया था. अपने पहले ही एकदिवसीय मैच के सिरीज मे उन्हे मॅन ऑफ द मैच से भी नवाजा गया था. अगले कुछ टेस्ट सिरीज मे  ठीक प्रदर्शन ना होने के कारण उन्हे टेस्ट टिम से निकाला गया था. फिर वी 2007 तक एकदिवसीय मैच ही खेलते रहे.  पर फिर भी 2007 के विश्व कप सिरीज के लिए उनका चयन नहीं हो पाया था. जिस वजह से वो बहोत नाराज हुए थे. उस वक्त उनका चयन ना करनेवाले बोर्ड को ये अंदाजा भी नहीं था के यही खिलाडी आगे जाके भारत को विश्व कप दिला देगा. 

     खुद को फिर से साबित करने मे जुटे गौतम गंभीर का चयन 2007 के ट्वेंटी ट्वेंटी विश्व कप के लिए कर दिया गया. इस सिरीज मे उन्होने लगातार प्रदर्शन दिखाते हुए टिम फायनल मे पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ पहूंची तब  भारतीय टिम कि तरफ से सबसे जादा रन बनाते हुए टिम को एक सन्मानजनक स्कोर तक पहुंचा दिया था. जिसके बदोलत भारतीय टिम ने ये मैच और ट्वेंटी ट्वेंटी का पहला विश्व कप जीत लिया था. उसके बाद उनके लगातार बढिया प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए 2009 मे आयसीसी ने उन्हे  टेस्ट प्लेयर ऑफ द ईयर का किताब भी दे दिया था. अगले ही साल उनका एक और सपना पुरा हुआ जो हर खिलाडी देखता है. 2010 मे उन्हे न्यूझीलंड के खिलाफ भारतीय टिम कि कप्तानी करने का मौका मिला. जिसके लिए उन्हे मॅन ऑफ द सिरीज से भी नवाजा गया था. फिर उनकी जिंदगी मे आया वो मौका जिसका वो बेसबरी से इंतजार कर रहे थे जो कि 2011 मे भारत के लिए विश्व कप के लिए खेलने का मौका था. जिसमे भी गौतम गंभीर ने अपनी काबिलीयत दिखाते हुए 2007 के ट्वेंटी ट्वेंटी विश्व कप के प्रदर्शन को दौरा दिया. 2011 विश्व कप के फायनल मे जब भारत ने इन फॉर्म खिलाडी सचिन तेंडुलकर और वीरेंद्र सेहवाग को जल्दी गवा दिया था तब एक और से टिम को संभालते  हुए 97 रन कि महत्वपूर्ण पारी खेली थी. जिसकी वजह से भारत 28 साल बाद एकदिवसीय विश्व कप जीत पाया था. 

     उसके बाद उन्हे 2012 साल मे ट्वेंटी ट्वेंटी विश्व कप मे उप कप्तानी करने का मौका भी मिला था. 2011 साल मे गौतम गंभीर आयपीएल के सबसे महंगे खिलाडी बने. उन्हे कोलकाता ने 2.4 मिलियन डॉलर्स मे खरीद लिया था. उसके बाद उन्हे खराब प्रदर्शन के चलते भारतीय टिम से निकाल दिया गया था. हालाकी आयपीएल मे  कोलकाता कि कप्तानी करते हुए गौतम गंभीर का प्रदर्शन लगातार बढिया रहा था जिसके चलते उन्होने कोलकाता को दो बार आयपीएल विनर का 'किताब दिलाया था. इस आयपीएल के दौरान कही सारे ऐसे  खिलाडी थे जिन्हें भारत के लिए खेलने का मौका मिला,  पर लगातार कई सालो तक बढिया प्रदर्शन करने के बावजुद गौतम गंभीर को भारतीय टिम मे जगह नहीं मिल पायी थी. सही प्रदर्शन के बावजुद भी उनका 2015 के विश्व कप के लिए चयन नहीं हो पाया था और नाही हर दो साल बाद होने वाले ट्वेंटी ट्वेंटी विश्व कप के लिए. बहोत सारे लोगों का तथा क्रिकेट एक्सपर्टस  का ये मानना है कि गौतम गंभीर के चयन को लेकरं उनके साथ सही बरताव नहीं किया गया.

     आखिर 3 दिसंबर 2018 को गौतम गंभीर ने अपना सन्यास घोषित कर पुरे देश को चौका दिया था. आज सभी को 2007 के ट्वेंटी ट्वेंटी फायनल मे श्रीसंत द्वारा लिया गया मैच विनिंग कॅच याद है पर उस मैच मे सबसे जादा रन बनाकर टिम को सन्मानजनक स्कोर तक पहुंचाने वाली गौतम गंभीर कि पारी को याद नहीं है....आज सभी को 2011 के एकदिवसीय विश्व कप के फायनल मे धोनी का जिताने वाला छक्का याद है, पर टिम के दॊ बडे ओपनर जल्दी निपट जाने के बाद टिम को संभालते हुए गौतम गंभीर कि 97 रन कि जितानेवाली पारी आज किसी को याद नहीं रही...बहोत सारा क्रिकेट बाकी होते हुए भी गौतम गंभीर का क्रिकेट से इस तरह सन्यास लेके क्रिकेट से विदा लेना कही सवाल खडे करता है.

     गौतम गंभीर एक बढीया खिलाडी ही नहीं थे बल्की एक बढिया इन्सान भी है. कोलकाता टिम से निकलकर जब उन्होने आयपीएल मे वापस दिल्ली कि कप्तानी संभाली थी तब अपने खराब प्रदर्शन से खुद नाराज होते हुए उन्होने टिम कि कप्तानी छोड दी थी, साथ ही जो पैसे उन्हे टिम के मालिक कि और से मिले थे वो उन्होने पुरे लौटा दिए थे. आज के जमाने मे ये कर पानां हर किसी के बस कि बात नहीं होती.  साथ ही वो जहाँ भी देश मे जरुरत होती है वहा पे वो अपने हिसाब से मदद करते नजर आते है. इस बात से ये पता चल जाता है कि गौतम गंभीर कितने बडे दिल के इन्सान है और अभी हुए 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव मे BJP कि ओर से पूर्वी दिल्ली के सांसद भी बने है. गौतम गंभीर कि चरित्र से प्रभावित जनता ने उन्हे आसानी से जिताकर उनके प्रति प्यार और बिश्वास जताया है.

     Gautam Gambhir ..... A name in Indian cricket that should have got as much name and respect as it could have got ... a name whose talent should not have received as much praise ... one  Such a name that should not have been given as many opportunities to live in Tim and to play for the country .... Friends, this is my personal opinion about Gautam Gambhir and I am in this blog today.  I will talk about personal life as well as the ups and downs in his cricket career.

      Gautam Gambhir, coming from middle class family, was born on 14 October 1981 in New Delhi.  His father's name is Deepak Gambhir and he used to work in the textile business.  His mother was a housewife.  Gautam Gambhir was only 18 days old when his grandparents adopted him.  He got all his education from Modern School, Delhi.  Gautam Gambhir had become interested in cricket since he was 10 years old.  Due to this, he started living with his uncle Pawan Gulati.  Seeing his love and desire towards his cricket, his maternal uncle also decided to pursue him in cricket.  Where he started working hard to teach cricket to Gautam Gambhir.  Realizing Gautam Gambhir's dedication to cricket, his maternal uncle had decided to get him professional coaching.  Perhaps that's why Gautam Gambhir considers his maternal uncle as his guru.

      Gautam Gambhir was included in the National Cricket Academy, Bangalore, soon after completing his schooling.  Nevertheless, Gautam Gambhir had completed his graduation before giving importance to studies.  If there was someone else in his place, he might not have done this.

      After that he had a full focus on his cricket career.  Due to this, Gautam Gambhir made his ODI debut against Bangladesh playing for the Indian Tim in 2003 and the following year he made his Test debut while playing with Australia in 2004.  He was also awarded the Man of the Match in his first ODI series.  Due to poor performance in the next few Test series, he was removed from Test Tim.  Then V continued to play ODI matches till 2007.  But still he was not selected for the 2007 World Cup series.  Due to which he was very angry.  The board, which did not select him at that time, did not even know that this player would go ahead and give India the World Cup.

      Gautam Gambhir, who was trying to prove himself again, was selected for the Twenty Twenty World Cup.  In this series, he showed his consistent performance when he reached Pakistan against Tim in the final, then scored the most runs for Indian Tim and gave Tim a respectable score.  Due to which Indian Tim won this match and the first World Cup of Twenty Twenty.  After that, in view of his consistently good performance, in 2009 the ICC gave him the book of Test Player of the Year.  The next year he had another dream which every player sees.  In 2010, he got the chance to captain Indian Tim against New Zealand.  For which he was also awarded the Man of the Series.  Then came the opportunity in his life which he was eagerly waiting for, which was a chance for India to play for the World Cup in 2011.  In which Gautam Gambhir showed his ability to tour the performance of 2007 Twenty Twenty World Cup.  In the final of the 2011 World Cup, when India lost these form players Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag early, another important innings of 97 runs was played by convincing Tim from another.  Because of which India was able to win the ODI World Cup after 28 years.

      After that, he also got a chance to captain the deputy Twenty20 World Cup in the year 2012.  In 2011 year, Gautam Gambhir became the most expensive player of IPL.  He was bought by Kolkata for 2.4 million dollars.  He was then fired from Indian Tim for his poor performance.  However, while captaining Kolkata in IPL, Gautam Gambhir's performance was consistently good, due to which he had twice given the book of IPL winner to Kolkata.  During this IPL, there were many players who got a chance to play for India, but Gautam Gambhir could not find a place in the Indian Tim despite performing well for many consecutive years.  Despite the right performance, he was not selected for the 2015 World Cup and neither for the Twenty Twenty World Cup to be held every two years.  A lot of people and cricket experts believe that Gautam Gambhir was not treated properly for his selection.

      After all, on 3 December 2018, Gautam Gambhir declared his retirement and shocked the whole country.  Today everyone remembers the match winning catch taken by Sreesanth in the 2007 Twenty Twenty Final, but Gautam Gambhir's innings which led Tim to a respectable score in that match is not remembered….  Remembering Dhoni's winning six in the final of the ODI World Cup, but after Tim's first big opener was dealt early, Gautam Gambhir's handling of 97 runs was not remembered by anyone today ... a lot of cricket left.  Notwithstanding Gautam Gambhir's retirement from cricket in this way and taking leave from cricket raises questions.

      Gautam Gambhir was not only a great player but also a great man.  After leaving from Kolkata Tim, when he took over the captaincy of Delhi back in IPL, being angry with his poor performance, he gave up the captaincy of Tim, along with the money that he got from Tim's boss and he had given it back.  .  In today's era, doing this is not a matter of everyone.  Also, wherever they are needed in the country, they are seen helping in their own way.  It is known from this that Gautam Gambhir is a man of great heart And in the just-concluded 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Delhi MPs have also been formed on behalf of BJP.  The people affected by Gautam Gambhir's character have expressed their love and trust to him easily.
